The Travelling Conservatory

A little world of green, crossing a sea of sand.

CUTAWAY STUDY · PLATE 07
Panoramic vintage engineering cutaway of a greenhouse train crossing a desert. Four labeled sections show a driver’s cab, growing carriage with planting racks, irrigation pipes and maintenance aisle, water-storage carriage with three tanks, and living carriage with a folding bed and used table. Retained roofs, glass ribs, doors and metal body panels preserve the train silhouette. White background, dark-gray drawing, and small green plant accents. Six purpose labels and leaders sit in the outer margin, clear of mechanical detail. Detail drawings below show planting racks, tank pipework and the folding bed mechanism.
